MINISTER OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT (SMT. SMRITI ZUBIN IRANI)
(a) to (c): As per Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Examination Bye-Laws (69.2), no change in the date of birth once recorded in the Board`s records shall be made. However, corrections to correct typographical and other errors to make the certificate consistent with the school records can be made provided that corrections in the school records should not have been made after the submission of application form for admission to Examination to the Board. Some such applications are received for correction in date of birth. Applica- tions not in accordance with the rule 69.2 (iv) of the Examination Bye-Laws are rejected.
(d) and (e): CBSE has issued a circular on 16.02.2015 for restoring the norms as per the Bye-Laws. |
