(a) whether the candidates selected through the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) clerical examination conducted in 2015 have still been appointed, if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor;
(b) whether the banks particularly the Indian Bank are yet to offer employment to candidates who have passed the IBPS, 2015 and if so, the reasons therefor; and
(c) the steps taken by the Government to expedite the appointment to these candidates? |

(a) & (b) The examination conducted in 2015 is for the vacancies of 2016-17. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has informed that the score under Common Written Examination for Clerks-V is valid up to 31st March, 2017. Accordingly, Indian Bank has time up to 31.3.2017 for issuing appointment orders.
