be pleased to state:-

(a) whether the Railways are considering to close or have closed the unmanned level crossings in the country and if so, the details of railway level crossings that have been closed in various States, State-wise, during the last three years;
(b) whether the Railways propose to deploy guards or construct underpass at unmanned railway level crossings and if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the closing of unmanned railway crossings in the country is likely to create inconvenience to the public and if so, the reaction of the Railways thereto; and
(d) the time by which guards are likely to be deployed at all the unmanned level crossings in the country? |
