(a) whether the Government is considering proposals for the revival and rehabi- litation of the Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd. (FACT) located in Kochi, Kerala;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government is aware that the State Government of Kerala has decided to waive off the Value Added Tax (VAT) on natural gas supplied to FACT in compliance with recommendations of the Board for Reconstruction of Public Sector Enterprises (BRPSE) and if so, the details thereof;
(d) whether the Government has decided to extend the promised `INR 991-crore revival package` to FACT as recommended by the BRPSE; and
(e) if so. the details thereof and the time by which it is likely to be done? |
