(c): Sale of yarn depends on demand and supply in the domestic as well as international market. Assistance under the ongoing schemes namely, Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme, Scheme for Integrated Textile Parks and Integrated Skill Development Scheme etc are being provided to organized spinning and weaving industry, which will help in increasing consumption of yarn. Further, support under the Yarn Supply Scheme is being provided, which will help in stepping up consumption of yarn in the handloom sector.
