ANSWER
(a) to (e) The Government has set up the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) as a Public Private Partnership entity to promote private training providers to set up skill development centres across the Country. As on 31st October, 2015, there are 266 affiliated training partners of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) operating 4648 training centers, inclusive of 812 mobile centers across 27 States and 5 Union Territories in 525 districts of the Country.

Further, the National Skill Development Fund (NSDF) has been set up in 2009 by the Government of India for raising funds both from Government and Non-Government organizations/corporates for skill development in the country. Some of the central public sector enterprises viz National Thermal Power Corporation, Powergrid and Coal India Limited have come forward to support skill development under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budget. These companies have contributed to NSDF for specific outcomes in the field of skill development.
